I have experience working with a wide variety of clients in a number of different settings. My experience includes working with college students, veterans, older adults, and athletes of all ages and abilities.
I utilize both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to psychotherapy. I provide sport psychology services to both individuals and teams, consulting with athletes since 1995 on a wide range of personal and performance related issues. I have worked with individuals and teams in the sports of American football, baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, track and field, and long distance running. My experience also includes consulting with several of Florida State University’s athletic teams, consulting for the National Sports Institute of El Salvador prior to the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games, and at the University of San Francisco. I offer assessment services addressing issues related to ADHD, memory disorders, traumatic brain injury and sport concussion management. My assessment experience includes performing neuropsychological evaluations with individuals with various neurological disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Huntington’s disease, assisting with the diagnosis of memory disorders, and evaluating individuals after a traumatic brain injury.
